What is Half-Life 2 Retail version ?
Steam Half Life 2 version wasn't always the way it is now. In 2010, the game received a massive graphics update and migrated to a new version of the Source Engine (called the"OrangeBox Engine")

So this addon just uses the old engine models and textures
This also includes Episode one retail models and textures

For those who want 2004 flame particles, you can try this
Half-Life 2 2004 Fire Particles

and if thats not enough, the pre orange box combine can't even reload their guns because they use the player animations, stuff like this is why you should never have both the npc animations and the combine animatons on the same model.

@ you combine npcs for some reason are using the player animations intead of their actual anims. please fix this becasue they're not using their proper running sequences, and its annoying.
