Status : Concept

The Macana Class is the sister ship of the Tomahawk Class. Both were built on the same structure and they were tested for the same Fire support / Rescue role. The Tomahawk won the trial due to her greater firepower, agility, lower cost and because the hangars of the Macana were deemed to small to carry enough fighters to be efficient. The Macana was still used in her role but she was the only one built with this configuration.

The hangars were replaced by a big framework block so it can be easily switched when the player gets to Trinium and you'll need to get the ship a litle bit bigger if you want the hangar block to be efficient.
