You will know the power of THE DARK SIDE

To celebrate this May 5th (Revenge of the Fifth, because I couldn't upload it on May 4th due to some troubleshooting with the files when I was trying to upload) and the 45th anniversary of the whole Star Wars franchise I've decided to port my recent Darth Vader model from Garry's Mod to SFM, it has been recompiled to fit better SFM's characteristics and settings.

FEATURES
  • Original skeleton from Soulcalibur IV with most of its bones renamed to ValveBiped names.
  • 4 models (2 character models and 2 helmet props: 2 with original textures and shaders and other 2 with modified textures and shaders)
  • Upscaled to TF2 size
  • Some bodygroups for the cape and helmet pieces, on ragdolls and props
  • Various skins for the lenses
  • TF2 lightwarps and shaders included on the models with modified textures to make them more cartoonish and achieve CGI-animated aestethics.
  • Particle attachment points
  • Additional bones for details like the shoulderpads for example
  • Added $mostlyopaque parameter on the QC files of the models to make them cast shadows on dynamic lighting, because the original model lacked of that parameter.

ISSUES
  • The IK chains are finally working, but the legs bend in the wrong direction. You can mend this with moving the legs to their correct position after using the IK chain.
  • If you have other problems like bugs or glitches just make me know in the dedicated discussion thread below and I'll try to fix them on my freetime.

All the artwork was made by me, do not claim it as your own or use it without my knowledge.

@Biggy Try to open a new session or verify stuff. However I don't know how to work with SFM that much, I'm mainly a Gmod guy

DaniVader, I have been troubleshooting the death star map you used in your pictures in sfm for one of my upcoming projects and I can't get the error models and missing textures to fix, can you help me?

@ProtoBoobs Sorry but this is just a model without a rig, maybe you can find a compatible rig somewhere else. There are also multi-purpose rigs which can be compatible with almost every model available
