描述
Adds a new character - The Dregs.

You've climbed the Spire. You've defeated countless foes. You've battled the corruption at its core time and again. But along the way, you've fallen. You've failed. You've died over and over. But every time, you got back up and started the climb again.
But what happened to the remains of those failed attempts? Did they just disappear? Were they absorbed by the corruption of the Spire? Or were they consumed and twisted into something new?
The Dregs are what is left from those countless failed attempts. Hated by Neow, consumed by darkness, the ever-determined remnants of fallen champions still attempt to climb on. Guide them along their way. Choose to embrace and spread the corruption that consumes you, or fight against it and try to remember your former power.

Features:

- Cleansing Curses
Neow hates the failed heroes she was forced to bring back, and curses the Dregs with a new curse at every rest site. These curses can be cleansed, however, allowing you to restore some of your original power. Functioning like a quest system, these dangerous curses can be turned into a great boon.

- Blight
The Dregs can also choose to spread its corrupt blight through the Spire. Enemies inflicted with enough blight will be instantly defeated, but will add a special curse card to your deck. These curses can be played to inflict blight on your next foes.

The Dregs has a full set of custom cards, all with custom artwork.

Latest Update:

Fix some wording issues.
Fix(balance): Lost potential+ gives 2 orb slots on when played, instead of one each time you seal a card.
Fix(balance): See No Evil can seal only up to 10 cards instead of any number of cards.

love this mod easily in my top 3 modded character!

Beautiful mod. I feel so bad for this poor creature, I want it to win mostly out of sheer pity. I like the character design - it seems to get more shards in it sometimes, but I don't know what triggers that. I think cleansed curses?

It's arguably weaker than the base classes, making it the hardest fanmade character I've played so far; good if you want a challenge. If you get lucky, though, it can spiral out of control very fast - I got multiple See No Evils and a lot of Seal support, which meant I was proccing all kinds of useful effects, 10 cards at a time. But even the base classes can be busted if you get very lucky.

Overall, very solid mod.

Also, if you beat a run, the Meow options can be weird.
- I can choose to obtain a card or I can choose to obtain a RARE card. Also, the last option, to loose the starting relic, is more of a death sentence than on any other characters IMO. The relic is needed since awakening cards seem to be key to winning

Sealing is weird, too. I try to not seal curses, so I get more awakened cards. When I seal, I often seal strikes because I do not want to end the combat just yet. It also doesn't help that the cards, which give a bonus while being sealed, need a damn huge deck to actually do something - anything. In fact, Proccing it once or twice is often pretty unimpressive for needing to also get seal cards. I would rather they get buffed to their upgraded version and turned into curses...?
Turning them into curses would allow the more synergies - both with the soulbound curse, as well as the 'curse sealing power' (which often is a DOWNSIDE), etc.

This character feels a bit unbalanced.
Here's the thing: I feel like 'Awakening' cards is one of the best ways to use this character. There, for example, is the power that adds 1 (2) str/dex to each awakened card for each card you sealed or exhausted. It is so easy to get 10+ value on that with a few blight curses, for example, which you are incentivied to get simply because that increases the amount of awakened cards.
As such, combat feels slow, since you want to draw the combat out, either to purify curses, or to heal back up.
Purifiyng curses isn't satisfying either. There were a couple of times where I rather would have had the curse (!) than the card I got from it. Its really weird.
Also, while the character is themed to be a remnant that tries to become whole again, there basically is no payoff to having off-color cards.

Just so you know, the "Neow's Hate" relic doesn't appear in Custom mode. Perhaps add it in as an option we can select on the Custom mode screen? Because otherwise whether or not we get a cleansing curse is completely random.
