forward smash has so much startup, jeez. and the backwards dash adds to the slowness by adding a lot of endlag. it also has a massive blind spot right in front of him, making the move worse.
with side special, i feel like more often than not if i try to use it to recover, it hinders my recovery more than it helps because the endlag prevents me from wall jumping until very late, meaning i just die.
now, on the positives, up smash, up air and up special feel amazing to use, very fluid and fun to land. i like the ladder combos, even if it takes a while to actually kill.
overall, cool character, just has some laggy/stiff moves that make him awkward to play, as well as some hitbox issues.
first off, nair doesn't have a backwards hitbox, so there's kinda no reason to use it over fair, which hits harder.
bair kinda looks weird, since the hitbox comes out after his sword looks like it's already swung? probably a lack of proper animations to work with thing, all things considered, though.
up tilt doesn't have a hitbox on the part of the animation where his sword comes up, which i find really odd considering it looks like it should at least hit behind him instead of being exclusively an anti-air.
down tilt feels bad to land, cause it's so stiff and feels like it lacks range, and while it does combo into up tilt (kinda, any sort of DI and it whiffs), up tilt itself also feels really stiff.
cutting post short cause character limit
