I don't know about you, but for me, most of the time, shadows on most maps just don't want to work for some f*cking reason

using code from https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/2414747801 this fixes it, for me atleast it does


don't expect this addon to do anything magical or something, it's a very specific issue that I have and just can't seem to fix even if I completely reset Gmod, so it probably won't even change anything for you, I'm just releasing this in case someone somehow has the same issue

also since none of this code is mine and because I have 0 coding experience this doesn't work on some maps unlike the original addon, so if you know how to make it work that'd be cool lol

Summonning the shadow_control is what it does pretty much but I didn't know about the second one

self index error is nothing I can do about since I absolutely don't know how to code and won't be fixed unless an experienced coder helps/makes this a proper addon on their own

small price to pay to fix shadows (it's a single error that occurs at startup)

also there's no commands

will this fix the pitch black csm shadows on most maps? probably not

Any idea if this'll fix the bug with CSM where not all models have shadows for some reason?
