If you need server plugins to make your game better it's not a very good game to begin with

i know the comments about synergy are from last year but theres some good synergy servers that get rid of all those downsides and make it like base hl2

They triple the amount of enemies in numerous sections and completely remove your ability to shoot while sprinting, I don't actually remember if you can sprint sideways or not. Either way, not fun

Haven't played Synergy in a long time, though...

The most fun part is when they took away your ability to side-strafe and made the campaign three times harder
