Anyway, if you do want Renaissance clothing you could go an era back from muskets and call them arquebus instead. It's basically a musket but was used in the 1400s. It doesn't even look that different to a musket but it lacks a match and lock. It was also shorter than what you think of a musket. In the late 1400 these things were developed, so that could be a more late game version that is more accurate (it could be shot with both hands at this point, instead of holding it beneath your shoulder with one arm and lit with the other.) Sometimes arquebus could be quite ornate too, if you wanted higher quality ones to look fancy. Ivory handles, detailed metal work, that kind of thing.
