描述
Tear your heart out with Chamuel, a character that utilizes them for combat!
21+ unlocks to uncover! (28 with Epiphany)



  • All collected hearts orbit around him instead of being added to the HP bar
    • Orbiting hearts are destroyed on contact with monsters, damaging Chamuel
    • Arrow keys = attack
    • Every heart has special ability
  • Immune to all contact damage



  • Unable to shoot tears
  • Instead, uses small souls to fight for him
    • Chamuel can use his pocket active to change the direction of souls and hearts
  • Immune to all contact damage



  • Getting hearts grants Chamuel a bonus and allows him to use its power
  • Killing enemies grants Cupids
    • Losing all Cupids results in death
  • immune to contact damage

for some reason this isn't compatible with Regret Pedestals and causes Chamuel's heart mechanic to not work, as a heads up to anyone

chamuel does not have orbiting hearts and picking up new hearts does not create them

Once when I played Chamuel, I couldn't use Flip in Shop and my console reported an error:
[INFO] - Lua Debug: [Chamuel:4]ERROR:...inding of Isaac Rebirth/mods/chamuel_2788981935/main.lua:779: attempt to compare nil with number
Not sure if the error report is about Flip issue.

i really do love this mod chamuel is one of my fav characters to play i think he and his tainted form have such unique playstyles and there really fun and this mod should be more popular 💖

also base chamuel cant take damage from dogma lasers at all whatsoever even when it hits the hearts

Im having some problems with chamuel i think hes a really fun character but his tainted version has alot of buggy interactions he isnt immune to all damage he still takes damage from curse rooms spikes sometimes bombs im not sure about that one only contact damage and enemy fire damage he doesnt take.His birthright doesnt work at all i tried it all of time even spawning it only spawned it for the room i currently had then it became the og souls instead of the birthright one
