The Combot NPC | Combine City Scanner Half life 2 Beta

That means im no longer going to add features(only fix some minor/major issues, depends). And im basically im giving away this addon for free, you may edit this and upload your own version but just credit me.

Even if you dont know what the f this is, if you're just tired of lame city scanners then you should definitely subscribe to this addon.

So what is this? The Combot is the direct predecessor of the city scanner. It is heavily different from the retail scanner, it is much more aggressive and actually attacks the NPC or Player with neurotoxin gas. The Combot was to directly speak to the citizens such as "Attention Citizen", "Submit to be scanned", etc... You get the point. Its basically city scanner if it could attack and was awesome.

• Inspection system. This works by inspecting if the target has an active DANGEROUS weapon. If it does, the scanner will say "Violation has been noted" and attack you. Otherwise, it will ignore you and say "You may proceed" or "You are free to go". The Combot resets every 60 seconds and will scan you again unless attacked, which will scan faster and gas you.

gc_combot_gas - Change the gas the npc emits when it attacks you (Default value is combotgas)

For some weird reason, the combot just attacks you regardless if you have a weapon that should not be detected as dangerous such as the Physgun or Camera. Im currently trying to fix this. - FIXED
