This is a clean style test with mashy spike plates. It is pretty easy, but fun.

I'd advise having the exit doors already be opened though, just to make it clear that all that's needed is to get there rather than hunt for a way to open it first. either that or put a pedestal button on the ceiling or something to add an extra puzzle

Easy indeed, but also exploitable. It's as if I didn't even need the crushers the way I sovled it.

The spikes are dark. To fix this you can set the DefualtAnimation To the smash_idle. So it starts the animation out and it gets the lighting on it, Next you want to make a logic_auto and in the outputs add OnMapSpawn > (Name of the Smasher) > Set Animation > smash_out. So it goes in when the map is loaded. and you might also need to reset the Defualt animation in logic_auto to BindPose. Hope this helps, and happy mapping.
