Plumeria or Frangipani is a tropical flowering tree in the family Apocynaceae. It is native to Central America, Mexico, Caribbean. They can be found growing as far south as Brasil and as far north as Florida.

Plumeria grows best in full sunlight with well drained soil, and can reach a height of 6 m (20 feet)

This tree fits perfectly into your sub-tropical/tropical map. Great for gardens and public green-zones, or just placed in the wilderness.
