William Regal (non-wrestler)

William Regal has been retired from in-ring competition for nearly a decade, but he has remained a prominent figure in wrestling.

Regal took over as the on-screen General Manager in NXT in 2014, a role he held until 2022. Regal also served as a recruiter and trainer for the WWE, based out of their Performance Center.

After being let go from his contract in early 2022, Regal resurfaced in AEW, making his debut at Revolution after a match between Bryan Danielson and Jon Moxley. Regal slapped each of the two to get them in line, and within a few weeks, the trio formed the Blackpool Combat Club with Regal serving as a manager.
