Your Own Nightmare - Mutation

描述
Your Own Nightmare is a mutation heavily inspired by the official "Nightmare" and "Last Man On Earth" mutations.
You probably already guessed that this is a Solo mutation and has some THICC fog! (It's also kinda difficult)

Now, you might be thinking that this is another generic Solo mutation (which, well, it kinda is XD) but I edited the Director's Options for a lot of Official maps so it's balanced and fun. There still are some maps that are significantly harder than others but a difficulty spike can be fun at times, I guess?

But anyway, here is a list of the major changes only:
  • You're alone
  • Once you're pinned, you dead :O
  • There are commons. Less common infected but it's still enough! Even a bit less on some finales
  • Special Infected are a little smarter
  • Special Infected limit is 1 (but it is 2 or 3 on some specific maps/events)
  • On some finales/maps, Special Infected can spawn while a Tank is active. On some maps it's prohibited
  • Removed unecessary items like Defibrillators, AWP and Scout. Trust me, those 2 snipers are f*cking useless in this mutation heh
  • Removed ammo piles. Now this is actually a interesting gameplay change because you can't stick with your favorite gun all the time (unless you find it again of course) but otherwise, you gotta pick up other weapons
  • You really shouldn't bother the witch...
    -Remember, this mutation was made with only the official maps in mind. Some custom maps look ugly with the fog change. Some custom maps might even be unplayable/way too hard but if that's the case please post in the comments what campaign it is and I will try to create scripts to make it fair just like in most official maps here.

There is survival and No Common infected versions included

Whatever the hell you did to make "Special Infected are a little smarter", yeah, you sure as hell did. You know in VS you gotta be at least 10ft from humans for the game to let you spawn as infected? It seems like that was removed because I could kill one Special while touching a door & literally the next frame another spawns on the hinges on the other side of the door, already catching me before they make a single zombie sound or before my whole body walks through the door.

I wonder if you could make a version where you feature only the assist-specials Boomer & Spitter. Same experience, but at least with a fighting chance. Or maybe a JUST Commons version, because there isn't a campaign mutation where fog exists & without buffed specials or just Specials in general.

Either way, a fantastic idea...that I don't think I'll currently play again :P

I personally also played it a lot, and I also had a really rough time to finish most of the official campaign lmao, but I was able to do so after a while, I know this mutation might be too difficult

This is the hardest Mutation I've ever played, despite having less than the base game!

I did a playthrough for YT but I had to finish with server cheats, after FOUR days of trying! It was that hard. Wow, bravo for making such a challenge.
