Call A Trader

描述
Description
This mod enables your pawns to request an orbital trader from the 'Orbital Traders Hub' using the commons console.

Features
  • Adds the "Call the Orbital Traders Hub" option to the commons console.
  • Adds an incident event where you can choose if you want to receive an orbital trader in the near future.
  • Costs, Delay, Cooldown and Letter-Timeout for the Call-Action are configurable.

Savegame Compatibility
It should be safe to add/remove this mod to/from your safegames at any time.

Cross-Mod Compatibility
If you have any of these mods installed known cross mod compatibilty problems shoud be fixed. This of course cannot be a guarantee everything will always work fine, so if you encounter any problems feel free to report them here.

Issue reports
If you encounter any issues pls open a discussion and provide some logs or a concrete way to reproduce the issue. Otherwise I cannot do mich about it.

I confirm trader not showing up after call him with latest version of game + odyssey unfortunately :(

@captainamerica_ sadly I only own the first 2 expansions, so I cannot test with any of the others.

There was an issue posted on Jul 24 about traders not appearing w the Odyssey expansion. I would add, that I have not had them appear in several games without the expansion. I have up to Biotech DLC and nothing else and am getting no traders (land based or ship based). I also always get a message when using the comms to request one that there are no ships in the area of my colony and the request is refused.

You are correct, I tried to get it to work with multiplayer back in the day but sadly never managed to do so.

So it's a known issue ehich I'm most probably never going to fix myself. Sorry for that.

I've been using this in 1.5 multiplayer and it only seems to cause a desync and no tradeship appears, still great mod for singleplayer! Thank you!

Traders weren't showing up when landed at an ancient complex, but moving the ship to a non-event zone allowed them to start showing up again. FYI to anyone else having the issue.

Hey @all

after the many issue reports I reverted the feature (messages getting lost in space if no comms console is available on current map) introduced with the 1.6 support which I believe responsible.

The mod is now back to its prev. codebase hence behavior so the issues should be gone now ... I hope :D
