Scrap Mechanic Patch Machine

描述
This tool allows you to patch your Scrap Mechanic game!

What is a patch?
A patch is essentially a mod, like you are familiar with. However, a patch modifies the Scrap Mechanic executable, raw binary!

What can it do?
Some of the patches include an Offline Patch that allows you to play Scrap Mechanic offline, and a Dev Mode patch that allows mismatching dev modes when joining worlds.
(Only 2 patches, more to come)

Will I need to update it?
Unless the functionality of the patch machine changes, not likely. New patches are released on GitHub, so simply by restarting the patch machine, allows the patch machine to fetch all available patches and load them for you!

Why are my patches red?
A red patch means 1 of 2 things. Either the patch itself has not been tested on your current game version, so its not supported, or it means that your game version is not detected/supported.

If there was a recent update to the game, just be patient while the patches are updated for your version. If there was not a recent update, you made need to verify your files

How do I use it?

You can download it directly from the GitHub page Latest GitHub Release[github.com] or subscribe to the mod, and use it from the mod folder
    Instructions:
    1. Go to where you installed steam (usually here):
      C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\
    2. Then navigate to the mod download folder:
      \steamapps\workshop\content\387990\2782732282
    3. Run the Scrap Mechanic Patch Machine.exe and enjoy!

Will this work with the new version with the new wedges post December 5 2024?

If not, what is the ETA for a new release ; how many months/years do i wait?

If it won't get an update are there alternatives?

I just need to do a small update, however I have exams and do not currently have the time. The soonest you could expect to see any updates is the 16th of December

No there is not a way to force apply. When the game updates, the location of certain code elements move around. So it no longer knows where the code is that checks for dev mode or offline mode. If it does not know where those things are, it cannot change those behaviors

it's don't for the last version release this day because it block itself just because he don't what version of scrap mechanic it is does there he way to force the app to apply the patch anyway?

No it should auto-detect as long as you own the game and steam can see the game too.

Does the game need to be installed on my main hard drive? I'm having issues reinstalling the patch after my game updated, and I recently moved all my games to an SSD
