描述

"Originating from desert areas, this race is known to be particularly tough and lethal in combat. The frequent dust storms made their skins leathery and tough, and their nomadic lifestyle made them adept in survival skills. Because of this they can be found anywhere. They are a stoic yet artistic race, who are not afraid to express their arts through their voices or through their blades."

They originate from deserts and so they adapted to them accordingly by being taller and having leathery skin, which makes them immune to dust storms and have a bonus in toughness.
They are tough nomadic warriors that are used to living in the deserts of Kenshi. That's why they excel at fighting head on and have excellent survival skills that allow them to keep being on the go.
That said they are absolutely useless at being sneaky and using ranged weapons, as well as doing any labour.
They are warriors after all, and not simple workers like greenlanders.
They are also not as eloquent and charming as scorchlanders, as their favourite language is the language of the sabre.

Also, they hate swamps. They cannot stand them at all, and that's why you will rarely find a desertlander in one.
There's a saying in Kenshi: "You are more likely to kill a Leviathan with a single toothpick bolt than find a desertlander in a swamp bar".

(I haven't implemented dialogue, but I'd love to. Too much work.)

They are inspired by the Fremen from Dune.
