Simple mod that speeds up your game by 3x. No more typing "slomo" in the console! Timesaver for modders!

You might want to slow down the camera scrolling speed to match (options->interface->tactical camera speed and geoscape movement speed). Will be more taxing on the GPU so may want to turn down visual settings. Recommended to turn off action cam and turn on zip mode (gameplay options), or freezes might occur on higher speeds.

Configurable ini included for speed and hotkey toggle on/off (F2 by default). Warning; values above 5.0 might cause glitchy animations. Because it also speeds up the world time, I suggest Pause World Time.

Safe to uninstall mid game

Recommended:
Skip Everything - skips cutscenes, removes many alerts
Pause World Time - pauses world time when not doing anything

Would be interesting if it didn't constantly toggle itself back on. Really stupid that this thing always wants to be on, like every time I open the world map.

Comments please, read the description. Hotkey to toggle is F2 by default, and you can choose the speed the game sets as default in the config file. I went with 1.4, and it feels great.

Love this, but is there a way to keep the default speed at 1x and only go to 3x with hotkey? The game keeps reverting to 3x, even when I don't want it to

Well, after a week of using it, nothing has gone wrong (besides the normal things that go askew when using the slomo command in console. Nothing to do with this mod.). I found that rebinding the key to 'Spacebar' or 'LeftShift' worked nicely for me.

One problem. WIthout this mod, whenever you use 'slomo', the game reverts to normal speed every few seconds. With this mod, it instead reverts to the 3x speed (or whatever you set) every few seconds. It's like the mod resets the baseline.

Is there any fix for this? It's a bit annoying if you like spending most of your time in 1x speed.

Regarding people below saying the 'model not lining up with actual position' bug being because of this mod... no, it's not because of this mod. It's because of Slomo. Same thing happens when you just use it in console.

My god, mod works perfectly. No more having to 'Console > slomo' 85 times a mission. Woohoo!
