The GWR 455 Class, also called the 'Metropolitan' or 'Metro' Tanks, was a series of 140 2-4-0T locomotives built for the Great Western Railway, originally for their London suburban services, including running on the underground section of the Metropolitan Railway, the source of their nickname.

Metropolitan Red (617 Class)

1871 spec (outside frames, questionable)
1880 spec (outside frames on front only)
1892 spec (new tanks, better cab)
1900 spec (biggerer tancc, better cab)
1930 spec (Same as before but with less interesting livery)

This is a commissioned model by some lady called Samantha, cheers Samantha for introducing me to the world of non-standard Swindon locomotives with no solid prototype as they kept changing everything
