描述
Adds a unique background image to every era in the tech and civics tree, giving them more flavor than the minimalist and rather lifeless line drawings of city centers. Additionally, each era now has different images in the tech and civics tree, respectively. The images are taken from various Civ V and Civ VI cinematic intros (with one image from the AoE4 launch trailer snuck in), converted into a monochrome low-contrast style fit for their use as backgrounds. See gallery for a collection of all 20 images.

Requires "Grand Eras".

This mod can be used as basis for adding your own background art. See the instructional thread under "Discussions" for more info.

no, because it requires Grand Eras, which is mutually exclusive with but incorporates a lot of elements from "Better Tech Tree (UI)"

not that easy because the default tech and civics screens use a strong parallax effect which makes fitting the edges impossible. Grand Eras makes changes to those screens that enable full-area backgrounds in the first place.

Even porting those changes to a non-Grand Eras version would not be that easy because the changes had to be custom fit to the size of an era on screen, which is different for Grand Eras in the tech tree (three columns of techs instead of two).

This looks awesome, could you consider making a version for vanilla or "better tech trees" mod? I do like your mods but most of the time I prefer to play vanilla
