New Zealand Railways GMD DB Class

The DB class were built by General Motors Diesel in Canada as a version of the EMD G8 modified for New Zealand service on lines with lighter weights and lower axle loads than the DA Class. They were 13 tonnes lighter than the DA and were powered by a V8 in place of the V12. Seventeen were built between 1965-66 with ten being rebuilt as the DBR in the 1980's by Clyde Engineering in Australia, the remained were scrapped. None survive today in their original form.

Quick and dirty DB I made to get back into the swing of making things and to populate my home map a bit more. Finishing off the RS-1 as well.
