[SMI] Vermilion - Frigate (NO DLC)

The Vermilion is designed to be durable and attack ships at range, making sure it hits its targets hard with a mixture of artillery and autocannons, with gatling turrets simultaneously working as PDCs and to pick off the enemies weaponary.

2 Artillery cannons & 2 Rocket Launchers are mounted at the front, which can be interchanged for doing heavy damage through the artillery and swapping to rapid fire rockets whilst the artillery reloads.

11 Turrets total; 6 Gatling, 2 AutoCannons, 3 Artillery.

The Vermilion Class Frigate was the first vessel designed by the SMI, originally sold off individually, the ship now makes up a large portion of a private army for hire.

The ship has frequently been used to destroy pirates in the system, whilst freelance pilots used the ship for escort duty.

Now the ship is mostly seen defending its home shipyards in the expansive fleet of the SMI, waiting for the next war.
