And A MASSIVE Thanks to Majoras

Youʻre an absolute champion. Thanks to your awesome work with rigging and modifying the Etherealʻs Crowns to fit on humanoid soldiers, I was able to enhance this mod with two versions of the Crown, as cosmetics for humanoid Soldiers.

Seriously, thank you for having for been so generous as to reach out to me, and allow me to use your hard work.

What This Mod Does

Provides an Ethereal Autopsy, as well adds the Ethereal Crown, a nifty item that can be manufactured using Ethereal Carcasses.

What The Ethereal Crown Does

Provides the Wielder with the Ability to Teleport, in style. Provides the Wielder with access to the Sacrificial Power Ability. Kills the Wielder if the Wielder gets Mind Controlled. And very bad things happen if the Wielder dies.

Sacrificial Power

Damages the Wielder and causes the Wielder to take a stat penalty, in exchange for Bonus Damage, a bonus Action Point, and a passive effect that restores an Action Point whenever the Wielder kills an enemy unit.

Sacrificial Power can still be used even if the Wielder has used all of their Standard Action Points, but it causes very bad things to happen if Sacrificial Power is overused.

It also has a bonus effect of being stylish.

What This Mod Doesn't Do

Make Ethereals spawn more often so you can farm Ethereal Crowns.

Same message as Lux, except it says "Recruit Multiple Heroes From All" is incompatible.

hm im wondering it says Prototype Armoury is missind in main menu and a must have mod but its not listed on the right side here can i ignore the warning ?

Can you change the abilities and/or the stat in config files? i cant seem to find anything but the sacrifical power value and damage

@Majoras If you're in the X2 Modding discord, that would be a very convenient method.

@RakkoHug Most likely they both use an animation with the same name, so it's just using one over the other because as far as the game cares, it's the same animation

I may have encountered a most curious BUG: Specialist equips Ethereal Crown, Grenadier equips Metion Armor (from Claus' Custodians Mod) -> Grenadier uses Metion Rocket to jump jet to a location. -> Instead of the usual rocket pack animation, Grenadier will now use Ethereal Teleport animation used by Ethereal Crown -> If the Ethereal Crown is no longer carried by another squad mate then the rocket animation plays normally.
