Custom Foraging Settings (Legacy)

I'm gonna update this mod soon, and probably remove the Search Mode interruptions options (they're not working properly anyway), just to make it more compatible with more of my other mods and other people's mods. I'll also add a refill zone multiplier option since it's been asked for. If you have suggestions for additionnal options, share them in the comments now, and I'll see what I can do.

This mod adds Foraging settings to Custom Sandbox.

• Zones multipliers,
  
• Item Categories multipliers,
  
• Vision Radius settings,
  
• Poison settings,
  
• Penalty settings,
  
• If zombies should interrupt Search Mode,
  
• If Running/Sprinting should interrupt Search Mode,
  
• If Search Mode should have darkness, desaturation and blur overlay effects,
  
• And other settings.

All of this you can tweak as you like.

For each setting, there is a tooltip appearing on mouse hover that will give more explanation.
In particular, for each zone it will give its density minimum and maximum values as well as its refill speed values, and for each item category it will give its chances of spawning in each zone.

This mod is particularly useful if you find the new Foraging system very obscure, and want to learn info such as:

• How poisonous are mushrooms and berries?
  
• How much ammunition can I really find through foraging? (spoilers: not a lot!)
  
• Where should I search to find stones ?
  
• How much does aiming or sneaking improve foraging?
  
• And many other things...

All of this you can learn without diving into the game files.


Compatible with Relentless Scavenger Trait.
Not compatible with Infinite Search Mode. (it has built-in settings for infinite search mode anyways)
