Hello Again!

This is basically a mini mod that I made, it basically lets you not get forced into every single alliance known to man, just because your sister-wife-daughter, married your neighbouring rulers aunt-niece-lover, and thus pulling you into an alliance with every single count known to man. You instead get a nice ol' truce, preventing war between both of you.

To make up for this, negotiating alliances is no longer locked behind a diplomacy perk. Instead various factors, including diplomacy skills, marriage relations, and already existing allies influence the decision which is available to everyone on game start. Don't worry diplo enthusiasts, the perk gives a relatively large bonus to acceptance factor, basically meaning an extra alliance ontop of what is already there.

Also no more than 5 alliances if you don't have a strong hook. The AI doesn't like you making your hugboxes.

AI can also use the decision, don't worry. It's just not as cancerous as the Abassids allying with the Holy Roman Emperor, just because their respective distant neices married ecah other.

I believe that the mod is somewhat broken due to the new DLC. Are there any plans to updating this mod?

Only problem with the mod is the ai basically never forms alliances when you do this

Ok, so this mod doesn't actually require the need to be Updated as far as I can see, as it will just say that it's outdated, but it should still work. I don't plan on updating it unless I can come up with something that actually needs to change with the mod, so until then it should work regardless.

Yes I know, this mod is currently my most requested for an update, so I will be doing that in due time, please give me some patience. The Discord has already suggested numerous features, and sent in many bugs. But do know that this is in my sights for when it comes to being updated.
