Current Game Version Compatibility: 1.17.* versions of the game
The purpose of this mod?
This mod increases the division capacity of the generals from 24 to 1000. But, it does this through decisions, and importantly, it does that for only the country where the decision is being used. Example: If you are playing the Soviet Union and you activate this decision, only your generals will have a 1000-division limit capacity, and the rest of the world will still use a 24-division limit capacity. Especially AI nations.
Why did I create this mod?
You know, there are more simplistic mods than mine that do the same thing, but not for one country, but rather for the entire world. I mean, those mods directly increase the base modifier of the game and make all the generals in the game have increased division capacity, but doing that corrupts AI. As I've observed, AI usually overstacks armies when I use division limit extender mods. (the mods that increase the base game modifier) Consequently, I thought maybe I could make a mod that only increases my general's ability to handle 1000 divisions. And that's why I made this mod.
Compatibility?
  • No, this mod is not compatible with Ironman.
  • But it is compatible with every other mod. You can combine it with every other mod, and it will still work.

You can use this mod however you like as long as you give me credit in your mod's description about that usage.

@Kaiserkane mod does not change any of the vanilla game files so in theory, it should be fine with any other mod

I recommend clearing cache and checking error.log file to see if there is a specific error(in documents paradox folder > hoi4 folder > logs) for troubleshooting.

Anyone play this with The Fire Rises mod have it not show up? I can't figure out why. It worked for one game and never since :( Is there console command I can use to fire the "more divisions" command to avoid the decision not showing up?

Erm...I meant lower limits such as 50, 100 or 250

Most of the time, you don't even reach 1000 divisions. So, I believe a 1000 division capacity is enough. Even if one reaches 1000 divisions, one can easily recruit another general and use two of them under a marshall.

So, I think there is no need for another mod that increases it further.

really nice mod.
would have been even greater to have multiple buttons for decisions so we could have different level of limits instead of the current 1000 limit if possible
