With this mod you are able to start as a vietnam veteran, by adding the Vietnam Veteran trait, which costs 8 points.

From the start you have Vietnam Veteran Helmet(THE MODEL WORKS PROPERLY ONLY ON MALE CHARACTERS), Military T-Shirt, Military Camo Pants, Military Boots, M-16, (2) 5.56 magazines, (1) Box of 5.56 mm Rounds.

I am planning to add more content related to Vietnam to zomboid.

would be nice if these trait (stay awake longer, better vision at night and panic during sleep, smoker, adrenaline junkie) come with the profession but for now, you can do it manually

The comment below is a good idea but I suggest making it so they only panic whenever they go into trees
