In 877, when Luis the Stammerer became king of the Franks, Aquitaine was incorperated into the Kingdom of France. From then on, France was never again split in two when a monarch died.

Features
  • This mod gives the option to unite West Francia under either France or Aquitaine after certain requirements have been met.
  • The primary use is to make it easier for the AI to consolidate western Europe for longer periods of time.

Reiterating previously stated desires for a decision to allow Occitan characters to reestablish the Kingdom of Aquitaine under certain conditions - otherwise this is a beautiful, must have mod.

Another great mod that exposes how the CK3 devs make some really dumb choices at times.
Honestly Paradox devs should've made it unified to begin with. Then added the option to create Aquitaine for any culture outside the Frankish group except Occitan and actual Frankish. Making the AI create the kingdom if France is conquered by outsiders, Occitans and Germanic Franks (who founded the Kingdom to begin with).
This'd make acquiring Aquitaine feel a lot more special.
