It allows you to experience a full Delve into the Principality of Stone with a complete story chapter for each of the 4 Core Game Knights. Test your mettle againts a Mob of Ironcast Dead and challenge the grotesque Eggknight in an epic Boss Fight!

Kingdoms Forlorn is the newest epic massive board game from Into the Unknown, offering an immersive co-op and solo experience for 1-4 players! Quest through a dark medieval fantasy world, through deep, innovatively-structured stories and endless rogue-lite delves! Customize your knight and play with your core group or pack up and take your knight to gaming groups around the world! Co-op, solo, wandering from campaign to campaign, following a story or venturing for unscripted legendary hunts, you decide how you play!

Note: This demo version has been balanced and polished as a 4 Knight experience and as such it is recommended to play it with 4 players. The final release will have a dedicated true solo mode as well as rules for 2-3 players.

Tactical, escalating battles with bosses and mobs, strategic delves into forgotten kingdoms, deep cooperation with hard co-op, branching adventures and deep, personal narratives. Unscripted hunts and a soloperative experience that allows you to play with your knight anywhere with anyone, regardless of campaign and level differences. A bold, dark medieval world with lore and secrets to uncover.

What makes Kingdoms Forlorn unique?
*Each character follows an individual campaign with personal consequences, that seamlessly weaves in all other knight campaigns and the stories of the Kingdoms themselves.
*The game is played in Shared Worlds with Drop-in/Drop-out Coop. You can play with your regular gaming group, play solo or take your character to a hobby store or convention. Your progress is persistent and will influence everybody you play with.
*There are no level requirements for playing with others. You can take your experienced Knight on a delve with newbies and the game will balance itself thanks to the Presence Smart Director™
*Kingdom Delves are tactical, meaning that every move of your party counts. Gone are the day of pointless wandering through random rooms.
*As you customize your Knight over dozens of hours of delves, battles and stories, you will make hard choices that will permanently influence your character, their loadouts, their story and, ultimately, their end.
*Thanks to our tried and true Inverted Combat Paradigm™ mechanics, your battles become more heated as they go on. Victory is never assured, defeat never inevitable.
*The Hard Co-op mechanism guarantess a true co-op experience. Things you do directly benefit other players. After each attack, you will choose and leave a set of tokens that will influence the turn of the next player.
*Your Knight campaigns are just the beginning. Kingdoms Forlorn provides you with a framework for a rich 'post game' experience, with additional levels of monsters, new challenges, expanded kingdoms, additional customization options and more!
*Your previous campaigns will set up the world for next. Knights who finish their campaigns will leave a permanent mark on their corner of the Kingdoms Forlorn world, by introducing new rules, items and stories.
