The Mosin Nagant was developed to replace the black powder rifles of the Imperial Russian army. After controversy and initial issues, it was mass produced to equip the army and reserves. While the quality of the rifles is varied, the gun in general was found to be quite accurate, with the biggest downside in comparison to other bolt action rifles of the time being it's slow action.

Was the older M1891 Mosin Nagant used in WW2? Because older M1891 were modernized into (more likely replaced by) M1891/30 version, so why is it still included in WW2 Soviet Collection?

Yea, like 99% of my weapons (except the MP40 standalone and maybe some of the old 2018 mods)
