Bounty get you money

Bounty now get you 120k for XS, 300k for S, 2.24mil for M, 6.2mil for L, 10.4mil for XL, made this mod thanks to DeadAirRT who mentioned in the x forum that the diff linked to bounty cost is located in default.xml so thanks for him and all his work. this is compatible with 5.0 beta 5, but it doesn't matter, it only modify a diff in default.xml, there no reason an update would modify that, but if egosoft decide to completely overhaul bounty system and will probably mean this won't be working anymore.

but anyway till then this will be up to date, can also be used with star wars mod and such.

I RECOMMEND using "Better Kill Credit" mod with this one, fully compatible and get you way more bounty.
in the game there is condition for the game to recognize your kill as a kill that can be rewarded.

(that you get the last shot before the kill, that the ship is at X distance from the station of an allied faction which is at war with the faction owning the ship you just killed, if the player have a police license...)

condition that make it very rare to get bounty, better kill credit solve most of it.


little edit/disclaimer:

-this mod only change the amount of credits you get for kill, you need a police license to get the full reward, otherwise you will get 1/4 of the reward.

-the only effect the mod would have in case of incompatibility or bug is getting the vanilla reward amount and literally nothing else is possible, its fully save compatible, and is compatible with all mod that don't modify the rewards amount of bounty.

(so pretty much all mods, but 1-2 mods maybe like the X2 bounty I guess. IT IS COMPATIBLE WITH "Better Kill Credit" which I FULLY recommend using with this mod)

UPDATE*: I have too much going in life, and didn't touch x4 in a long time, so I couldn't even check if the mod is still working, there seems to be report it doesn't (even tho there also was report it didn't work when it did and people had self inflicted bugs) so I won't take down the mod for those that still work for them or so...

but I'll point you toward an updated version of the mod made by dubious, which probably is up to date...
