The Mitsubishi Lancer EX / A170 is the second generation of the Lancer nameplate. Fondly known in some parts of the world as the Lancer Boxtype, this is the "it" car in the Philippines during the 1980's, one of the very few models that can be bought brand new in the country during that time. Available from 1979-1987 for USD, although irl one can still buy a brand-new unit as late as 1989.
