Halo M8823 SOEIV Drop Pod, ODST

M8823 Single Occupant Exoatmospheric Insertion Vehicle informally referred to as the Human Entry Vehicle and drop pod and also known as the Egg, is a small pod used by the United Nations Space Command to deploy an individual and his equipment from high orbit to the surface. In creative, simply paste underneath a large grid connector. In survival, you will have to print the grid, then maunally build the door. Fortunately, everything works in survival, you simply have to add a few blast doors and windows to the hinge to complete the door.
To launch, simply ensure the door is closed (4 on Hotbar) and start the launch timer (1 on Hotbar).

Gravity will take the pod out of your hull. A few seconds later, the thrusters will engage while simultaneously ejecting the small ship connector. Chutes will deploy near the surface, you can cut the chute about 60 meters up and it will plant the pod upright in the ground without harm to the player.
