(DEPRECATED) Yet Another Heatsink Restriction

描述
This mod is now deprecated in favor of the new heat sink restrictions toggle in the YAML options!

This mod introduces heat sink installation restrictions for the heat sink kits from The Equipment Collection formerly known as Harjel.
Different heat sink types cannot be mixed anymore and require a compatible heat sink kit. So in order to equip double heat sinks
one first needs to install a double heat sink kit, the same for Clan or Compact Heat Sinks.

The next version of Yaml will include the restrictions provided by this mod via a cfg switch.

Hey mate, while this mods active, Clan mechs now aren't able to have the yaml labelled, or DLC7 labelled clan dhs equipped to the mech, but it will allow the standard 3 slot dhs, even though the dhs kit in the clan mechs isn't swappable, and are labelled as yaml clan dhs kits.

Love the mod except for one thing, if the kit and/or the heat sinks are destroyed in the mech, and your just trying to strip out the valuable components, it should let you start the work even though it still has destroyed heat sinks or heat sink kits.

Get my Yet Another Special Variant to be able to salvage advanced equipment including heat sink kits. (be aware though that many of the mechs appear later in the timeline, but that is why I created the advanced career start mod ;)

Cool. Thanks for the answer. I'm pretty early into the campaign. I've found a double heat sink but no kit yet. I'll keep going, I'm sure I'll find one soonish. :)
