[Reworked] Madax Weapon Pack - B42

Greetings Survivors!

I present to you the [Reworked] Madax Weapon Pack.

What is different from the original you may ask? Well let me tell you just a few things!

1. Items are distributed into the loot tables, I tried to keep them as logical as possible. You will find more tools in a hardware store, more baseball bats in a sporting goods store, and so on...
2. There has been additional repair options for every item in the pack. If the vanilla counterpart of the item is repairable with something, so is the modpack item.
3. I attempted to add the context menu functions of each item relative to their vanilla counterpart... Axes chop, Machetes cut, Sledgehammers sledge.... This functionality has come and gone with updates but in my most recent testing it was working as intended.
4. Combined both the orignal Madax Weapon Pack and Madax's more recent weapon pack.

***Some repairs will need you to use the crafting menu due to changes in fixing scripts***

As always credit to Madax for creating an absolutely awesome original modpack and helping me get involved with the PZ community.

If you have any constructive feedback feel free to let me know as I will be trying to have a more active role in updates and improvements to the modpack with whatever can be done.

There are a lot of mods out there but from the mods I’ve played with I’ve had no issues

I'd love to see a Becker BK-3 and a CRKT M16-14DSFG, but thats just because they're my personal favorite knives in my collection lol. Neat mod, love more melee weapons

@OxTailSafu with 42.12 the fixing recipes were changed so I just removed the fixing scripts all together. Everything at this point will work off the vanilla mechanics of repairing based on tags on the items.

Much props for going in there and rebalancing the weapons closer to vanilla values. As someone who made a private fork of this mod doing the same, I know it must've not been easy. When I get a chance to play the game again, I look forward to seeing the changes you made.

I do have to ask though, did you end up removing the context menu options for repairing these weapons? With b42 now moving that to the crafting menu it seems a bit redundant to have the two of them there, no?

@EzeePeez you are absolutely right, I used this mod in b41 and it's nice that you're keeping it alive for b42, thanks for what you do.

hey man, Some of us understand. With each update, Anything could break. prepared to start a fresh at any point. Thanks for your efforts. It's a great pack.

Correcting the repair issue was easier than expected. They have made a pretty awesome change for modders in terms of us being able to have items repairable. All items should be able to be repaired with tape or glue, and if you have the appropriate skill levels and crafting menu requirements you can repair with better reagents.

@Christopher the most recent update changed how the fixing scripts work as previously mentioned in the comments. I will have an update for it as soon as my day to day schedule allows.

Just to remind everyone B42 is UNSTABLE. There will be a lot of changes they make during this time that will break parts (or all) of the mod. Many mod creators are choosing to not update until stable comes out. I don’t get paid to update this mod and am not asking for money but repeatedly telling me it’s broken is making it more likely for me to unlist it until stable is released.
