GREAT BRITAIN (VICTORIA)
Unique Trait: Sun Never Sets
Cities on foreign continents contribute 5% of their Science output and 10% of their Gold output to the Capital. Those cities receive 10% of the Production output from the Capital and cities on the Capital's continent.

Unique Unit: First-Rate
Stronger than the Frigate that it replaces, the First-Rate is more expensive to produce and slightly slower. However, it grants additional Defense to Naval Units beginning their turn adjacent to it and possesses additional Sight itself. It is unique to Great Britain under Victoria. First Rates make excellent frontline ships.

Unique Unit: Redcoat
The Redcoat is the unique Rifleman replacement for Great Britain under Victoria. It ignores terrain costs when moving and may enter rival territory without Open Borders, making it effective at reaching your distant cities. This unit may be garrisoned in a city on a foreign continent where Production is being impacted by Unhappiness to offset those penalties.
ENGLAND (ELIZABETH I)
Unique Unit: Sea Dog
The unique Sea Dog is the Privateer replacement under Elizabeth I's England. Like the standard Privateer, the Sea Dog begins with the Coastal Raider promotion, allowing it to plunder Gold every time it attacks a city. Moreover, like the Privateer, it has a chance to capture any enemy Naval Unit it defeats in battle. For England under Elizabeth I, a Sea Dog is spawned everytime a Great Admiral is, provided they have been unlocked and have not become obsolete. They can move through enemy territory without open borders and ignore ZoC. Use Sea Dogs to easily outmanoeuvre your enemies.
ACHIEVEMENTS
Victori Is Mine
Beat the game on any difficulty setting as Great Britain under Victoria

They Named Them All After Her?
As Great Britain under Victoria, rename a city on another continent to Victoria

Note that Achievements require the Additional Achievements mod: here.
PATCHNOTES
  • v9
  • Redcoat Production bonus corrected to being 2% per Unhappiness.
  • Added Additional Achievements support.
  • Reworked uniques so that they draw on the exact elements of their base unit/building.
  • Tidied up some redundancies in the code, and some other misc. fixes.
  • v8
  • The instant Gold for Vicky from settling a city on a foreign continent has been removed. Now, Vicky gets 10% of the Gold output of those cities (alongside Science) and returns 10% of the Production of the Capital as well as cities on the Capital's own continent to those cities in return (this Production is divided between the num of cities receiving it).
  • The Science from cities on a foreign continent is now at a rate of 5%.
  • Increased Defense bonus from the First-Rate to 25%.
  • The First-Rate ability now carries over with upgrades units.
  • First-Rate Defense bonus no longer applies to Embarked units.
  • The Redcoat ability now carries over with upgraded units.
  • Sea Dog from Henry V's England now replaces the Ship-of-the-Line instead of the Playhouse. So the two mods will be incompatible until Henry V is updated. I've done this so that Henry V can get Liz's revision and the Playhouse is the most likely unique to be designed more closely to it.
  • Sea Dog now also ignores ZoC.
  • Changed Victoria's war theme.
  • Added new city lists for Victoria Elizabeth I thanks to DarthKyofu.
  • Added update Civ icon for Elizabeth I thanks to DarthKyofu.
  • Various text, supports, and code standardizations/optimizations.
  • Fixed black outlines on Civ Icon and Unit Flag alphas (where applicable).
  • Fixed issue where the ambience in the leaderscene overwrote the music (where applicable).

Unfortunately, this mod has an issue where about mid to late 1800s, all the production, science, food etc, go to 40,000 or other random sums, breaking the game, anyone else encounter this or have a fix?

Having this mod installed disables civ selection scrolling. I don't know if it's a conflict with other mods, I didn't try it by itself.

how does the tech, gold and production register? i should be able to hover over science in my capital city and see how much is being contributed from cities on other continents, right?

Good day, sir.
I have a problem with a First-Rate unit - it does not appear even in my Battleships tech.
I also have EE mod.
What can cause the problem?
Because I saw there are 2 First-Rates, but one from your mod and other from EE?

for a civ build around colonizing other continents, the Victoria AI sure loves to just stay at home instead of expanding

Is there any way to change this civilization's colours?
I've successfully changed the colour of Churchill's Great Britain, also by JFD.
However, changing the values in the ArtDefines.sql for this civ only seems to change the colour of the Elizabeth's England civ.
