The problem with legacy heroes is that they have data of abilities they had whenever you finished your playthrough with them.
This mod removes all vanilla-abilities and supplements them with new ones. So when you try to use a legacy character with say, Flashcone, or Quellingmoss, the game will crash since those abilities no longer exist.
Excellent I understand. I would consider adding that note/instruction to the description of the mod.
Now, more mundane feedback. Only played a little further, observations:
-Mystic hero first level up, first two options have teasers, third option is place holder value with placeholder description text
-Warrior hero first level up, chose Slayer, first round must use free action intensify or turn won't end.
-Slayer hero character sheet ability "advancedwarrior" with description text "advancedwarrior"

You would have to finish your current playthrough, activate this mod, then play a new campaign with it. It'll lead to bugs if you have this mod and are playing through an existing campaign, since your characters will have different abilities.
Played new campaign 5 chapter generic, used legacy heroes, first level up crashed game.
