CSLA Iron Curtain: Velvet Line
Single Player Campaign

DO NOT USE ADDITIONAL MODS.
A guerilla campaign of the fictional struggle of the FIA insurgents against the oppressive Eastern Bloc rule during the Velvet revolution of the late 1980's in Eastern Europe.

Campaign features:
  • CSLA Iron Curtain CDLC required
  • Intense combat featuring infantry and vehicles.
  • Around 2-3 hours of gametime.
  • Combat difficulty: Hard/Medium.

If you like the campaign then leave a thumbs up rating (and perhaps a comment). The campaign is still under development and I plan to add a few more missions, but only if there are enough subscribers and positive ratings.

How to play
This is a campaign mod. Simply subscribe from the Steam Workshop. Load the campaign mod from the MODS tab in the Arma III launcher along with all the required mods listed. While in game menu, navigate to Campaigns in the Single Player tab and select Velvet Line.

Really enjoyed that swamp/helicopter takedown mission. Did drag on a bit too long but had a good vibe.

First mission was too intense though, a bit off-putting for the first mission. The scenario is good, just a bit too hectic with all the APCs.

I finished the campaign, short, but very good, I loved it, thank you, my favorite campaign so far in Arma 3! And it is also nice to play a campaign on that beautiful map.

@generalrokossovsky - This is what I can tell ya...

1st Mission IS possible. Use different methods in which to complete it.

2nd Mission - The first time I did it, no issues. Other times? Well...yeah...I had some issues too. BUT in all fairness to the dev, I am using 200+ mods when running ARMA...You can always use the 'Skip Mission' cheat to 'move on'.

Do not know it/know how to use it? Simple!

Hold down the SHIFT and the Number pad "-" (minus/dash) symbol, at the same time, release them, then type E N D M I S S I O N (end mission and NO SPACES; you are typing (one word): endmission)

NOTE #1: You will see NOTHING when doing this correctly! You will know if you got it right IF the mission ends.

Note #2: SOME devs 'block' this via their mission file. ALL can do this, I have seen this ONLY ONCE.

My mod CAN help you with some of these issues, Link is in my last post.

This IS a good campaign... :)

first mission impossible, too many apcs and no counter, 2nd mission very boring just walking around swamp, half of it doesnt even work and i cant complete it because triggers dont work

@Little Tiger Racing 2.0 - You can use my mod to save anytime you want to. MP, SP, anytime!

Do note, that sometimes with MP saves, it will not work. It should work 100% of the time time if you have set up a local server and it being the computer you're playing the mission on. If you try to save from a dedicated server, I can just about guarantee you that it will fail.

Very happy with your campaign.:steamthumbsup: Rely enjoying it. Especially scene i hate multiplayer sp missions due to the fact i can not save a game.

Still plan on making more missions/2nd campaign?

@chak231 - From what I heard the 'Spy Engineer' was spotted crossing into Lavoina under the cover of a storm at night.

The story about 'him being dead' was just a cover story to hide his real movements.

Something about him investigating some 'alien equipment' found there.
