[OBSOLETE] Husks Don't Breathe

描述
This mod is now OBSOLETE with the "Blood in the Water" (v1.4.4.1) update. The update makes the diving suits work the same way this mod does (i.e. not using any oxygen with Tiger Thresher genes or husk infection) so there is no need for this mod anymore. I will leave this mod up so that I don't mess up old saves or anything like that but you should NOT use this mod anymore.

Thanks to the people who left comments when the mod broke or noticed I had missed including something, that made it much easier to keep the mod updated.


***ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION***
You no longer use oxygen from oxygen tanks in diving suits/masks when at 90% husk infection or with 100% tiger thresher genes. The Husk Symbiosis counts now too as long as it is >= 75%.

You will still hear the alarm if the tank in the suit/mask is empty or if there is no tank.


I was super disappointed to find out that the tiger thresher genes don't actually reduce your oxygen consumption (it gives Low O2 affliction resistance) so I made the diving suits work the way I thought they would with this gene. I did the same for the husk infection, it's not useful for long without the husk gene though.

I just wanted to say thank you for all the fun I was able to have thanks to this mod with husked crew. its been great and its always great when a mod achieves the ultimate honor of becoming a feature. i will now unsubscribe

Here is a notice for anyone subscribed to the comments on this mod.

The new base game update does what this mod does so you no longer need it and should stop using it when you can as I will no longer be updating it. I am leaving it as it is so that I don't mess up anyone's saved games by deleting it.

@TheBird I haven't try disposable suit and broken suit yet.But I found that exosuit isn't working,it seems like you forgot to add it in the "filelist" folder,don't know if I'm saying this right...

@magicfish The mod should be working for all diving equipment except for the disposable suit and the broken suit, did you find one that isn't working?

@Hazmat616 The mod tests for a husk infection (not husk gene) above a certain level so you can use the zealot robes or the husk genes.
