I'm working on a way to pass information from the server to track Clan members outside that radius. It's about half done.
I've learned a ton recently and am mid re-architect on a bunch of the code on the back-end to facilitate tracking Clan members that are outside net-cull distance. With this, I'm aiming to enable some configuration options... one of which is potentially custom-coloring the pips for Clan members, and yes... disabling the DEG.
And yes, any chance to be able to change some
settings like toggle the degrees on and off ?
@Gisborne, What I find working most of the time, is to close the game, close steam,
then either reboot your (friends) pc or make sure steam is terminated in the taskmon.
Then start steam again and wait for 5 to 10 minutes - don't start Conan yet! - to give it
a chance to recognize some mod updates (and thus, installing them).
That all worked mostly on Ark Survival Evolved. Also an agony irritating buggy hair-pulling awesome game.
Steam is far from perfect in these mod-update matters, but we can't live/game without them lol.
For his issue... He needs to run the game without joining a server, go into Settings > Gameplay, and un-check "Automatically connect to the server when mods are ready". It's a cute idea from Funcom, but my friends and I suffer endlessly whenever some mod has updated and that box is checked.
