That is false, downtown_v1 didn't have a suburbs area.
Did you even check the link you provided? (https://garrysmods.org/download/3685/rp-downtown-v1p) v1p is the public version of original v1 and it doesn't have suburbs. This is not the original _v1 layout.

Also the YouTube video is from the first version of downtown. It always had a suburb. V2 doesn’t have the suburb for sone reason…

This version is the modified version (v1p) as that I couldn’t find the original v1 map on garrysmod.org , gamebanana, etc. BUT, thepro confirmed that this was actually the rp_downtown_v1 version one map. Proof: https://garrysmods.org/download/3685/rp-downtown-v1p
