Ice Station Alpha [U]

Now a -U- Universal, [Vanilla/Reforged 2], 1.12+, Level 15, (Tier 2/2 core), Mini/Micro Armored Concrete Base Comes with Teleporter, 1-320k Controller , 12 Large sorted cargo boxes, Small Constructor, Advanced Constructor, Med Station, O2 Station, Armor Station, Fridge, 2 Miniguns, 6 Sentrys, and 6 Solar panels with 2 solar capacitors.

Can run with turrets on, using solar power, if placed within 3 AU of a nearby sun. Otherwise runs on 3 T3 fuel tanks for 120+ hours in Vanilla or 180+ hours in Reforged. If not needed, you can replace the Advanced Constructor with a Deconstructor or the 2 miniguns with Flak Turrets if needed/desired. It is up to you.

I use this tower as a disposible midgame to endgame "tool" for remote management of a planet where a small CV/large SV is used to mine, collect/maintain autominers, and/or dismantling POIs. By midgame, I am able to leave a small CV on each planet that requires maintenance. Allows better/efficient multitasking.

Also works on Asteroids. Can replace constructor with gravity generator if desired. If so, attach to area sensor to save fuel.

Also provides a nice 360 degree view of your planet. There is a tactical advantage to having a perch high above your enemy, especially if they cannot shoot upwards. Easily placed on hills or mountaintops where many bases cannot fit.

Nicely used on Hard Ice, Lava, Moons, and desert planets. You can change the entire outside color by selecting the color you want with the color gun and paste it onto the color [white] in the color panel.
