That'd be easy to code in as a debuff and/or some other effect, but I doubt a visibly damaged beard/mustache is even supported by the game engine; though, there should be multiple beards/mustaches that could feasibly serve as the closest equivalent to each other, so maybe the mod could force a specific one depending on the one you had before, since even the game itself relies a lot on Lua scripting, so I don't see why a mod couldn't utilize the same.
