This mod adds 390 more map markers to the game's base selection of 15 - the original 15 in 4 more colours, the numbers 0-9 and the letters A-Z in 5 colours, a full set of nordic runes, and various other symbols.
The maximum number of markers a player can have on their map is NOT increased - no modder knows of a way to do this. If you have something, please let me know!

As we're working with a lot of icons in a very limited format and with restricted graphics skills, not all markers are of the highest quality - though you will surely find enough to satisfy all your organizing needs.

Technical information:
This mod replaces the W_PlayerMarkerDialog function in the UIModuleTable with my own copy which has more symbols and displays 2 more rows in the marker window than default.
It makes no other changes in the game, thus doesn't interact with any other mods (besides other map marker mods of course) - mod load order for your server is irrelevant, put it whereever you like!
Mod size will never be above 1 MB.

Thanks for the nice mod, I found it after finding that "More Map Markers" crashes the game in 3.0. One suggestion, the icons would look better if they had black outlines like the builtin icons.

Dieser Mod fügt nur zusätzliche Symbole hinzu, mit denen Spieler ihre eigenen Sachen markieren können. Mit den bereits vormarkierten Orten hat er nichts zu tun.^^

Ok :) Mich wundert es, dass die Namen der Orte in englisch sind. Den Mod der Sprache angepasst wäre super! :D

This mod just adds more map markers, there is no text involved anywhere.

To my knowledge such a mod doesn't exist yet.
Since admins can set global markers with Pippi, and clans have shared markers for thralls etc, it SHOULD be possible to build into a mod, but unfortunately not for me - very limited skills. :(
