EMD E8 RTA Commuter

The Regional Transportation Authority (RTA) is the financial and oversight body for the three transit agencies in northeastern Illinois; the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA), Metra, and Pace. RTA serves Cook, DuPage, Kane, Lake, McHenry and Will counties. In the 1970s the RTA operated the commuter rail service directly before the formation of Metra.

This train is modeled after the E8 series locomotive designed by EMD. The passenger train is based off consists around the period when commuter service switched from private hands to public hands creating a "rainbow era" similar to Amtrak.

Train functions as a regular passenger train but due to train lengths you might need to change how you set up stations.
