描述

Narrowboats were the primary method of transportation of goods along Britain's canal network.

Adds a narrowboat for general cargo, an oil tanker, and an aggregate carrier. These are small, cheap and slow boats that are ideal for low volume import, export and transport by waterways, especially in conjunction with other mods that add small docks and cargo harbours.

Avaliable for purchase with dollars from 1900 to 1997.

None of the boats can load vehicles or containers, I didn't feel like that was realistic or necessary (You can probably afford better boats if you have a container loading facility or car factory). I think I got the kw from some documentation on narrowboat engines, and the speed from the speed limit on British Canals. But for game reasons I agree they're too slow to be useful, so I'll increase the speed to 10kts.

P.S. I imagined narrowboat for one 40-feet container...but unfortunately container is wider (243 cm vs 208)

Ok, I read about narrowboats, then about English canal system - now "Three Men in a Boat" will never be same for me :) it's cool!

But please reduce power or increase speed - water on low speed is VERY energy cheap, you can have ~3 km/h using just two human, not even horses - look Holland-1931 photo https://en.topwar.ru/176101-burlaki-rossii-i-evropy.html

I recommend change: 2 kw - 3 knots (for two horses) or/and 10 kw - 7-10 knots
