why does my screen turn green when i load the mod ??

It works in all game modes if the load order is correct and you have to start a new game to have it take effect. Make sure you click the checkbox in-game.

Neat mod. Seems to only work when starting a new game. Should clarify in your description that saved games are unaffected.

You have to install it and then select it. It didn't work for me until I clicked on the little checkbox.

That said, $1 billion?! I should have read the comments first. That's too much IMHO. I was expecting something like doubling the mission rewards. It takes the challenge out if a rookie can buy a cruiser for his first mission - and that's exactly my situation.
