After they did a scouting mission with helicopter and they saw the Infection Beta they knew that they had to do something, but they also can't go too far in it. And so they sent in some mechs which was Destroyed by the Infection Beta with it's Electrical Surge. they Realized at this point that it might be too dangerous for even the Mech Warrior to go in there. And so, They created these Drones that would be turned on and fly right into the enemies and blow up the enemies which works. But the Drones eventually just started getting too expensive to keep producing constantly as it is not tearing them apart and they just keep healing.
