ULTIMATE GERMANIZATION [DISCONTINUED]

This mod still works, but was discontinued due to the huge amount of bugs, and I will include it on my next mod, a big project of overhaul for the (spoiler). The main reason of the discontinuation is that when I made this mod, my coding skills was almost none, and it's very very very disorganized and bad structured, then, I realised that it's not worth to fix it, and I will focus now, on my next mod.

The main objective of this mod is germanize the city and state names of the game after the player has conquered them. + some new wallpapers for the loading screen.

The following countries are already germanized after the german conquest (or puppet controll):
  • Poland;
  • Lithuania;
  • Latvia;
  • Estonia;
  • Czechoslovakia;
  • Austria;
  • Hungary;
  • Switzerland;
  • Netherlands;
  • Belgium;
  • Luxemburg;
  • Denmark;
  • Soviet Union germanized up to the Urals (I will finish it someday, but for now I will focus in other places of the Europe);
  • France;
  • United Kingdom;
  • Ireland;
  • Greece;
  • Yugoslavia;
  • Romania;
  • Albania;
  • German Imperial ambition: Mittelafrika (extended);
  • United States;
  • Canada;
  • Some states in the north of Italy.

NOTE: The listed countries have almost every (95%) city and state renamed to a german alternative exonym, some of the names were created by me, based on the original name of the place + similar German names (due to lack of sources), so they are unique.

In the future, I pretend to make german names for all the cities of the world.



IMPORTANT

-This mod now works with existing save games, but with some improvisation. It is fully compatible if you don't annexed any state yet. if you did, use some command, like the "setowner (country tag)" while clicking on a state, or a mod that transfers territories. It's simple, just put the selected state under the control of any other country, and annex it back to you, and Germanization will take place. Also, the future territories that you annex, will be normally germanized;

-This mod was not tested in multiplayer neither with major mods, like Road to 56, The Great War, etc. If you wanna test this with them and tell me if it works, I appreciate;

-If you are not going to play with Germany, don't use this, because maybe you will see some bugs;

-And if you see some english mistakes, that's because I am not a native speaker; :)

-Also, if you find bugs, report them to me and I will try to do something.

Can this be fixed? I would be willing to pay some money to fund it if it is. This mod has large potential if fixed and updated

if I had the knowledge to help you make a rt56 version of this mod I would, but i have zero to none experience with hoi4 modding.

I know, but not all state and city names are germanizaed because rt56 add many more cities and states to get their names germanized

Bug?; When Germany occupies cities, they are yes, renamed, however they REMAIN renamed, meaning if the French lose Paris, it will permanently be under a German name
