Only for use on versions 1.49 and below.

Simple addon for all split map_data background maps to stop the game crashing when you zoom out with a large map loaded.

Load above all background maps and map mods.

Yep, SCS fixed the bug so it is now defunct. There's no reason to use it unless you want the roads on your world map to look worse.

Seems it is not needed anymore, and I can confirm it is so with latest ProMods v273 (along with The Great Steppe and RusMap)...

I can confirm. I played yesterday without the fix and no crashes so far.

Yes SCS has fixed the bug that caused the crash

It works smooth on 1.50! (Promods 2.70 + Rusmap 2.50)

I've installed this fix but the game still crashes, btw the game is ETS2. Any solution?

This mod cannot give an "incompatible" message for any version. I would double check all your mods, load order, and ETS2 version.

For some reason this is showing 'incompatible' now on ETS 1.49, ever since 1.50 release
